*This post highlights wearing blanket cardigans for fall and features items that were gifted to me for a product review
Hey Everyone!
We’re officially in my favorite season for fashion. Although I may not be a fan of cooler temperatures, I can’t deny how incredibly fashionable fall is. In addition to that, Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I’m currently in the process of dieting to lose weight so I can eat as much as I want at Thanksgiving dinner. LOL! I’m very serious. 🙂 I’m most excited about spending time with my family and friends. Thanksgiving is truly the best holiday, in my opinion, because the emphasis has always been placed on family. There’s nothing more important than that to me. I also have friends that live in other states that will be here during that time as well. It’ll be great to see them again…even though we just saw each other in South Africa.
As someone who has issues staying warm during fall/winter, I’m always on the hunt for chunky pieces. Blanket Cardigans are perfect for people like me. They can be worn alone or layered with other items like tissue tees and scarves. They also look great with jeans, trousers AND skirts! J. Jill’s Blanket-Stitch Cardigan is unbelievably warm, comfortable, and surprisingly, soft! I usually have a hard time wearing anything made of wool. I think the fact that this cardigan is 50% Nylon and 50% wool yarn softens it quite a bit. It’s such a fun cardigan to wear. It was 49 degrees and raining on Sunday when my nephew and I took these pictures. Normally, I would have had to wear a coat or jacket of some sort. That wasn’t the case this time though because the cardigan is so warm. I love it!

I could NOT resist sitting on the floor in front of the pumpkin display at Ponce City Market in Midtown. I’m pretty sure the people there thought I was completely off my rocker! Oh well! 🙂 Check out J. Jill’s November Collection for more fabulous fall must haves!
Will you be wearing blanket cardigans this fall?
