Hey Everyone!
When you’re in the office do you ever notice how everyone dresses the same? The colors people choose to wear are always on the dark side. They also seem to cover every inch of their bodies. It’s the standard work uniform. What is that all about? LOL! Why does going to work have to equal looking drab? I know work isn’t typically associated with fun, but that doesn’t mean you have to look like you’re being tortured. Spring is here folks! That means it’s time to bring bright colors into the office! As always, J. Jill does a great job of making professional clothing look easy and elegant. The March Collection is full of pretty pastels, light fabrics and fresh new patterns. I especially love the colors! Nothing says “spring” like bright pink, purple and blue!
When it comes to popping a little color for the office, it’s SO simple! I totally understand some of you not wanting to rock the boat. You definitely don’t want to go to work looking like a clown. If you feel like you’ve selected something a little too bright, just tone it down a bit. Whatever you do, don’t get discouraged. It’s not always easy to choose to stand out. For my look today, I’m wearing the Mixed-Stitch Pullover in Gala Heather. In keeping with not wanting to go overboard, I chose to wear a pair of black pants. Simple accessories and a nice pair of black pumps were just enough to finish it off!
