Hey Everyone!
I can’t believe it’s Friday already. Seriously, where does the time go? After having to deal with nothing but rain for about 13 days straight, we finally got some perfect fall weather! This is the type of weather you go walking in. I’m really looking forward to getting out of the house this weekend. There are lots of local farmers markets open during this time of year. It’s fun to go shopping when it’s so beautiful out. What will you all be doing this weekend? And how is the weather in your city? As always, I’m looking ahead when it comes to my outfit choices for the weekend. It’s always nice to wear fabrics like cashmere when the temperatures are in the upper 50s to 60s. Cashmere is a lightweight, breathable fabric. The greatest thing about it, is that it has high moisture content. That means that its insulation properties change with the relative humidity in the air. So you can wear it in all climates!
Today, I’m wearing J. Jill’s Luxe Cashmere Tunic in Steel Blue Heather. Cashmere tunic sweaters like this one look great when paired with jeans. The length tends to add an air of sophistication. They’re also suitable for the office. You know me, I’m all about versatility when it comes to clothing. 🙂 I’m also wearing J. Jill’s Compassion Fund Scarf. Since 2002, J. Jill’s Compassion Fund has been dedicated to providing support to community-based organizations. These organizations help disadvantaged and homeless women become self-sufficient. When you purchase one of these scarves, 50% of the net proceeds go towards the fund. There’s nothing like wearing clothing that gives back. I took these pictures last Sunday when it rained. I’m actually thankful for the rain that day because I think my trench coat was a fantastic finishing touch!

I neglected to mention how crazy I am about the color of this sweater. It’s such a beautiful, soft blue. The softness of the blue, however, is no match for the softness of the sweater. Check out more of J. Jill’s November Collection HERE.
Will you be wearing cashmere tunic sweaters this fall?
