Hey Everyone!
We made it to Friday and guess what? In only 17 days, I’ll be leaving to go to Cape Town! I can’t believe this trip has come so quickly! As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been thinking a LOT about what to pack. It’s probably no secret that I have a lot of clothes (HA!). I wish that meant that it’s easier for me to decide what to take with me. I actually think the more clothes you have, the harder it is to decide how to pack. It leaves you with too many options to choose from. My process for packing always includes first thinking about the activities I’ll be doing while I’m away. Once I do that, then it’s easier for me to decide what to take. As with any trip overseas, you should expect to do LOTS of walking. That means you’ll need outfits that are loose fitting and comfortable.
Casual tourist style can easily be achieved by packing these key items:
- Loose fitting chinos in neutral colors
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Breathable tops
Once again, I’ve turned to my friends over at Threads 4 Thought for some super comfy pieces to take on my trip. I’m wearing the Byron Sweatpants with their New York Tank. I love the bright orange color of this tank. Not to mention the fact that the message is fitting for my trip 🙂 Both the sweatpants and the tank are soft and breathable, perfect for wearing for an extended period of time! Please note that my wedge sneakers were only added for effect. These shoes are by NO means suitable for walking long distances.
Here’s my look:
