Hey Everyone!
The primary reason for stocking your wardrobe with basic pieces is because they’re versatile. Basic pieces can be worn in multiple ways and because of that, have longevity. That’s what it’s all about right? Saving money. The most popular way to wear basic pieces is by layering them. It’s not the only way though. Adding statement jewelry is also a great method for dressing up basic pieces. You would think that basic pieces are easy to come by. I’m here to tell you, they’re not. Quality is important, especially if you plan to purchase items that will be around for a long time. Enter Cabi, a fashion brand that specializes in quality pieces, whether they’re basics or not.
Cabi is unique from other brands because they offer a consultant-based selling model. What does that mean for you? Well, it means that you get to wear and sell Cabi’s beautiful clothing! Cabi has approximately 3,500 stylists spread across all 50 states right now. Stylists even get to do fun things like host private trunk shows with their friends! It’s definitely a great opportunity with excellent earning potential. Find out more by visiting Cabi’s website HERE.
For my outfit today, I’m wearing Cabi’s Layering Turtleneck and Dark Destruction Slim Boyfriend Jeans. I dressed up these basic pieces by adding what’s called a “Zulu Scarf”. I bought it during my trip to South Africa. The colors that pop from this beautiful statement necklace were just enough to accent these two pieces!
Here’s my look:

the jeans are really great and look fab on you. They are slimming unlike most BF jeans. I 100% agree that basics are needed to make your wardrobe more versatile as well as statement pieces. you’ve demonstrated that here real well. Your Zulu scarf necklace is out of this world! I’m so jealous! I’ll have to grab one if I ever go to South Africa :). I sometimes co-host a fashion link-up. I’d love for you to add your link. My first was:http://the-wardrobe-stylist.com/2015/11/26/1st-linkup-black-friday-best-deals/
I will be doing another later this week.
