Hey Everyone!
If I were ever asked to define my style, I would have to say that I tend to lean more towards Bohemian style than anything else. It’s weird because although I don’t see myself as being “earthy”, having island roots seems to naturally lend itself to that. There’s also something about fringe, gladiators and tribal prints that just drives me nuts! In keeping with Bohemian style, I’m also a fan of Turquoise jewelry and any kind of statement jewelry made with natural stones. Druzy has also become one of my favorites lately. I love to see flowing maxi dresses with long druzy necklaces. The look is both elegant and eclectic. It’s interesting how accessories can change the dynamic of an outfit. I recently had the pleasure of being introduced to Arthur and Livingston, an online jewelry boutique that sells exotic, handcrafted pieces. Created with influences from the Caribbean, Arthur and Livingston jewelry captures the true spirit of the islands and laid back Bohemian style. Check out this excerpt from their site:
“Our pieces overflow with vibrant colors and irregular shaped gemstones inspired by island nature. Chunky chains, metal findings and wire-wrapping give the collection edgy, contemporary flair.”
For today’s look, I’m wearing one of the druzy necklaces from Arthur and Livingston’s Spring Collection. The Black Out collection features stunning black stones set in vibrant yellow gold. I’m in LOVE with this necklace! I can’t tell you how perfect it was for creating my modern day gypsy look! The outfit I’m wearing was one of the outfits I took with me to Coachella but never got the chance to wear. I’m notorious for over packing so don’t be surprised if you see more festival looks in the coming weeks. 🙂 If you’re interested, my Sparkle and Fade Ribbed Racerback Tank Dress, Shangri-La Floral Triangle Open Poncho and Luka Lace Up Sandals are all currently available on their respective websites….so get to shopping! LOL!
