Hey Everybody!
I know it’s been a few days since my last post, but being in college, there is always work to be done and I am very busy. Between my job, classwork, and trying to handle things as an off campus student, it can be stressful. However, what doesn’t kill you can only make you stronger, so I won’t complain. Anyway, I spent all of Sunday trying to figure out what I wanted to talk about. I spent a good deal of time looking through my makeup to decide what I use often enough to give an honest review of. I finally decided to do an e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit Review. YAY!
This is a product that I can say I use on a regular basis. Seriously, my eyebrows are very thin, so if I don’t put a little color on them, they are virtually invisible. Of course, as much as I love makeup, when I first started, I never did my eyebrows. In my opinion, it was complicated. I didn’t understand how to fill them in, which lead to me skipping them altogether. Now that I am older and understand what a huge role brows play in framing the face and completing a look, I am determined to be the brow MASTER!
I started off using a powdered eyeshadow and then I later realized that I did not care for the way it made my eyebrows look. That’s when the makeup gods led me to this product. The e.l.f Studio Eyebrow Kit comes in a couple different colors, each containing two different shades. The texture of the shadow is very creamy and true to color. When doing my brows, I first line my them with an eyebrow pencil to define my shape. Then, I use my MAC 266 angled brush to fill in my brows with the e.l.f eyebrow kit. I like to keep it light on the inner part of my brow and get darker toward the tail. I feel that it keeps them from looking to harsh. Finally, I clean them up with a little concealer, blend, and highlight.
Here are the different colors e.l.f offers!
For under $4 this product is certainly a must-have for me. I have been trying out a lot of new products from e.l.f lately and I love them all, but this is a product I will always come back to.
What products do you use for your brows?
Until next time…
