Hey Everyone!
Fall is in the air and you know what that means! Time to pull out the scarves and get ready to layer! I may not be a fan of cold weather but I do enjoy dressing for the season. There are quite a few colors from Pantone’s Fall 2015 report that I love. Only one of them is particularly close to my heart though. It’s Amethyst. As a February baby, Amethyst is my birthstone. So it goes without saying that it’s one of my favorite fall hues. The color purple has been one of my favorite colors for as long as I can remember. I’m glad it’s finally going to get some time in the spotlight. The rich, vibrant, boldness of this color can make any outfit look amazing. Not only that, it adds some warmth to neutral colors. You may remember from a previous post that I discussed wearing bright colors in the fall. Just because the temperatures drop, that doesn’t mean you have to stop wearing color.
For today’s look, I’m wearing different shades of Amethyst. Thanks to my friends at Vera Bradley, I’ve added some fabulous accessories to my fall wardrobe! The best part is that they all have hints of Amethyst in them! I’m carrying their Bowler Satchel in Water Brushstrokes. This is such a fun bag! What I like the most about it is that it doesn’t say fall at all because it’s full of fun colors! I added their Printed Poly Scarf in Katalina Love as a print mix. These two accessories coupled with my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans and flats are just what I need to kick off the fall season.
