*This post highlights how to find balance in your daily work routine. I was asked to participate in the #StarbucksOnTheGo campaign, sponsored by Starbucks® Bottled Iced Coffee at Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.
Hey Everyone!
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, then you already know I work from home. You’re probably thinking I’m a lucky girl, right? Well, I am and I’m not. Although working from home has its perks, there are also a few downsides. For one, I’m alone for 8-10 hours a day with no real social interaction. If it weren’t for conference calls (which I’m on all day) I wouldn’t have anyone at all to talk to. That doesn’t sound like much fun does it? I’m now in my 2nd year as a telecommuter and I’ve learned a few things in that time. For starters, it’s important to find balance in your daily work routine. I found my balance by perfecting a bookend routine that works well for me!
When I worked in an office, one of the things I loved the most was stopping to get coffee in the morning. That’s why I incorporated that into my daily routine. I recently discovered Starbucks® Bottled Iced Coffee and I LOVE it! It comes in two delicious flavors, Black Sweetened and Black Unsweetened. I have to say, I’m crazy about the unsweetened flavor! These rich, smooth beverages are nice to enjoy on the go.

So what do I do now instead of heading to the office? I get up in the morning and get dressed as usual, then I head to my local Walgreens. After grabbing a bottle or two of Starbucks® Bottled Iced Coffee, I go to an internet cafe and settle in for a few hours.
It’s so nice to be able to get out and incorporate one of my favorite things into my new work routine!
With the weather so warm and beautiful now, it’s nice to sit outside and enjoy my cold coffee. You’d be surprised how much I’m able to get done! I was also able to solve my issue of not getting enough social interaction! 🙂
How do you find balance in your daily routine?
Until next time..
