Hey Everyone!
In my post yesterday I neglected to mention that Melanie and I went to a really cool bar in Mykonos Town called Ode. It was our last evening and we wanted to at least get a sample of the night life. Ode is a bar that only serves spirits…no food, just drinks. It’s the first time I’d ever been to a place that didn’t serve some type of food. We enjoyed it though, and my drink was AMAZING!
The next day we got back on the ferry for our trip down to Santorini. Unfortunately, we sort of lost a day because the ferry got in so late. Regardless of how long it took for us to get there, breathtaking views were abound.
Here’s the view from our room at the Volcano View Hotel:
Getting in late didn’t stop us at all. We ventured out that evening and wound up at a karaoke restaurant in Perissa (which we thought was Fira) called Porto Castello Taverna. This place has a HILARIOUS headliner! We had so much fun singing with this guy. If you’re ever in Santorini you have GOT to check this place out! The next day, we took the local bus to a town called Oia (pronounced “E-ya”). Inspired by all of the beautiful Bougainvillea surrounding Greece, I decided to wear an adorable floral dress I got from Lulus.com. The Margaret Ivory Floral Dress could not have been more complimentary to the gorgeous flowers and stunning views in Oia.
Here’s my look:

Oia is a really cute town full of arts and crafts stores, jewelry stores and restaurants. There’s even a section of the town that has luxury goods from names you know like Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Prada. Everywhere you go people are taking pictures of the views there. If you plan to visit, make sure you take your walking shoes. Once again, it’s very hilly so you have quite a way to travel to get to the place where it’s best to watch the sunset. We had a great time exploring!
Here are a few more shots of Oia:
Later on that night, we hit the town and wound up at a bar called Murphy’s in Downtown Fira. This was a great spot! The music and drinks were awesome! We also checked out a club called Koo which played great music as well. We had so much fun that night! By the time we made it back to the hotel we were pooped. The next day would be our last day in Santorini before heading back on the ferry to Athens. Stick with me tomorrow as I wrap up my fabulous trip!
Head over to Lulu*s to check out the Margaret Ivory Floral Dress!

Hi Amal! I’m not sure if you saw my Instagram post or not, but I got those shoes as a gift from Sseko. I think they’re about $75. They’re real leather and SUPER comfy! Thanks so much for your comment!
