Hey Afaconados!
I’m SO excited to be doing this Giveaway! My plan going forward will be to host a giveaway Every Month so please continue to stay tuned so you don’t miss out! I promise it will be well worth the wait and the posts 🙂
Once again, the item up for grabs is a Kendra Scott Stone & Gold Hammered Cuff Bracelet, which retails at $135. The item is brand new and in the bag I received it in. The bag has NOT been opened. Here is a picture:
It’s even prettier in person! Please note that the blue in the picture seems a little brighter than the actual item. I guarantee that the item is authentic, however. Anywhoo…I’m keeping this first giveaway VERY simple…almost too simple seeing as this is a pretty expensive piece of jewelry…call me crazy I guess 🙂
The Giveaway duration will be from June 25th – June 30th. Only 1 entry is allowed. All locations are acceptable. MUST be 16 or over to participate.
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS THIS:
1. Comment on THIS post and enter your CORRECT email address. This email address will be what I use to contact you, as well as how you will be entered into the giveaway, so please…no keyboard slip-ups…make sure your email address is correct.
2. In your comment, you MUST tell me how you connect with Fashion. Some examples are as follows: Do you read magazines to connect with Fashion? If so, which ones? Do you monitor celebrity style to connect with Fashion? Do you connect with Fashion by looking at what other people wear? Things like that. I’ll be reading these so please don’t give me boring one liners. Be creative!
3. After leaving your comment, either SHARE the post on Facebook OR TWEET the post via Twitter. Both Facebook and Twitter share buttons can be found at the end of the post, please use those.
THAT’S IT!!
On July 1st, I will be taking all of the email addresses I’ve received and entering them into what’s called a “Randomizer”. A randomizer takes a list of items (in this case email addresses) and randomly places the items in order from first to last. The winner will be whomever the randomizer chooses as the first email address.
The winner will be notified via email on July 1, 2012. In that notification email, I will be requesting a mailing address so I can send the item. The item will be sent within 3 days after I’ve received a mailing address. I will also write a post that same day congratulating the winner.
Please spread the love and let your friends, cousins, sisters, aunties, grandmas, etc..know about the giveaway. No need to be selfish 🙂
I will be posting as usual next week so please stay tuned! Good Luck!

I connect with fashion by wearing things that make me feel good and stand out from others. I like to be myself and wear colors and items that show who I am. Sometimes I wear things from fashion magazines or things that were handed down from members of the family. Fashion evolves as the years go by, but I love it all.
Celeste says
I love looking through Pinterest for fashion inspiration! I have gotten so many great ideas thanks to it. I also like to just browse around stores and look at how different items are put together in displays or on manikins.

I connect with fashion via social media. Last year, during Fashion’s Night Out and all of Fashion Week, I was able to participate in all things fashion from my living room, without even having to get a babysitter for my newborn. I was able to watch live fashion shows, follow designers on Twitter, and discovered that my hometown area now has a fashion week as well. I’m hoping to see a connection between the new art museum and the Fashion Week people- an exhibit featuring local designers would be amazing!

After having my kids it was hard for me to connect with fashion because I became a super plus size gal. Then one day I looked in the mirror and realized how sloppy I was dressing. From that day on I made a decision to try and always look nice yet big gal sexy at the same time. Therefore, I connect with fashion thru watching Tara Banks America’s Next Top Model, reading the magazines, online view shopping (I say that because you cant window shop on line. get it, LOL, I know that was corny, but it is what it is). I really watch the old episodes from years ago when the marathon comes on on Saturdays. In my opinion that show gives me ideas on how I can dress myself. I mean the clothing may be for a woman with a smaller frame, but I have found suttle ways to work around that. When I view online sites for plus size gals I get excited because I have so many options for how I can go to the store and piece outfits to fit my shape, enhance my curves and hide the unmentionable bumps. Fashion for the plus size woman has become a big part of my life because I love to see what I can do to glamour myself up so I can feel cute and sexy at the same DAMN time.

I stay connected with fashion by following other bloggers as well as fashion websites, I think blogger style is more down to earth, even though sometimes they look for inspiration in the runways or tv shows, I prefer the street or blogger style more, as some of them are incredibly stylish and creative.

I used to read magazines to connect with fashion, but I find myself realizing more and more each day that my true inspiration comes from fashionable bloggers…and pinterest. I still pick up a magazine from time to time, but it can feel a little too ad heavy. almost as if they’re forcing (sometimes tacky) trends down your throat. that being said, I love to follow celebrities with a keen fashion sense to stay tuned to whats stylish. People watching is a big factor in my style. If I see someone wearing a style I like, I like to compliment them for making the world a prettier place.

I follow fashion on Pinterest. I have an entire board called “My Perfect Closet” thats just filled with outfits and accessories that I’m slowly working with to build my closet to where I want it to be. I love doing it this way instead of seeing something in online or on tv and wondering where on earth to get it! Like this, I can easily bring up my board and see what looks good together!
