This post features hand poured soy candles from Earth Meets Water that were gifted to me for a product review
After a bit of rain on Saturday morning, the rest of the weekend turned out to be beautiful! Unfortunately it rained so heavily that it ruined my breakfast date with my mom. She’s not in the best condition so I don’t like having her drive out here when the weather is bad. The warmth on Sunday actually surprised me a little. Now don’t get me wrong, I love warm weather but I’m not sure I’m ready for the heat that I know is coming soon. It gets unbearable when it’s hot here because the humidity is terrible.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner and I’m sure you’re all scrambling to find the perfect Mother’s Day gift. If you’re like me and you don’t like giving typical gifts, it can be difficult to find something unique. Some of my mother’s favorite things are perfume, handbags and scented candles. Although those may sound like typical items, there are ways to make them unique. For example, I recently discovered Earth Meets Water, an Etsy store that sells hand poured soy candles. After getting a few of these candles myself I can tell you that they are AMAZING! I haven’t even burned my “Refreshing” candle yet and I don’t need to. The scent that comes from that candle is so potent you don’t even need to burn it! How crazy is that?! Earth Meets Water is also dedicated to giving back. Every 6 months, they pick a different foundation to donate a portion of candle sales to. If you love candles as much as my mom and I do, then trust me, these are awesome!
