Hey Everyone!
As I eagerly anticipate the few weeks I have left until I leave for Cape Town, I’m thinking about what to pack. I’m a fashion blogger so I don’t have to tell you that it’s important for me to be stylish when I travel. It’s equally as important for me to be comfortable and blend in as well. There’s actually a trick to that. If you want to learn how to be a stylish tourist, the key is knowing what items to bring along with you.
Some essential items for the stylish tourist include:
- A Fedora
- 1 or 2 scarves (preferably a neutral colored scarf and a printed scarf)
- Denim Jacket (if it’s distressed then that’s perfect)
- A stylish pair of sneakers or slip-ons (i.e. Converse or TOMS)
- A crossbody bag
The reason these items are so important is because they can be worn with just about anything. Having items that can be worn with anything will also save you some room in your luggage! Speaking of saving things…how about the planet? I’ve written before about sustainable fashion. I think it’s important to be conscience of things we use everyday and find ways to be less wasteful. It’s even better to find super chic and fashionable clothing made from sustainable materials! That’s where Threads 4 Thought comes in. This brand doesn’t JUST use sustainable materials to make their apparel. They’ve taken social responsibility a step further by printing messages about causes they care deeply about on their graphic tees. How cool is that?! Today I’m wearing the Everyday Dress. This extremely soft, adorable dress is made from organic cotton and recycled polyester. I paired it with my recycled denim jacket!
