Hey Everyone!
Okay, call me old fashioned but I’ve always been more of a modest dresser. I know you’ve seen me show some skin on the blog every now and then. Being really honest though, those posts are a representation of me “stepping outside of my comfort zone”. Overexposure has never been my first choice. The fact of the matter is, you don’t have to show it all to make modest outfits look sexy. What’s even more interesting is the fact that it doesn’t take much to make the switch. My basic rule of thumb for how to make modest outfits look sexy is to keep one sexy piece and pair it with one modest piece. For example, you can wear a top that shows off some skin, and then balance it with a skirt or pants that are more modest. Doesn’t that sound easy?!
For my outfit today, I shopped my closet. It’s been a while since I’ve done it and I swear every time I do, I find so many wonderful things in there! The skirt I’m wearing is one that I got from Anthropologie years ago. I remember it being on sale and it took me forever to finally find my size. Nevertheless, after adding it to my wardrobe, it has remained there until now. What I love about this skirt, aside from its softness and comfort, is the length. It’s tea length which is pretty modest. I paired it with a sexy spider-back cami which adds just the right amount of sexiness, without taking away from the modesty of the outfit. Simple accessories helped to round it all out!
Here’s my look:

This is the perfect outfit for taking a stroll through the park on a warm (not hot) summer day. I absolutely LOVE the back of that cami top too!
How do you make modest outfits look sexy?
Until next time…
