Hey Afaconados!
As you all know, Fall is right at our heels and it’s just about time to start transitioning out of that skimpy Summer wardrobe and into clothing that leaves a little more to the imagination. 🙂 I noticed this morning as I took my dog out that it was a little chilly…just about 55 degrees. While that may not be cold, it’s definitely not the type of weather you’d want to wear short skirts in…at least not until it warms up in the afternoon.
The trick to transitioning your wardrobe when the weather changes, is to wear pieces that can be taken off if necessary (i.e. A sleeveless top worn underneath a cardigan). Since Fall and Winter are all about layering, it’s easy to pile on the layers and take of necessary pieces later on when it warms up.
My look for the day combines a polka dot cashmere sweater from J. Crew with a pair of boyfriend jeans by Current Elliott. I added a sleeveless collared top to be worn underneath the sweater so that the sweater can be taken off later when the weather warms up. If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m crazy about animal prints so I usually incorporate them in most of my looks somehow. With that said, I added some gorgeous leopard pumps, big brown tote and little embellishments for the jewelry.
Here’s my set:
This look is very easy to achieve and most of you probably have similar pieces in your wardrobe already. It can be worn to work or out for a casual cocktail in the evening! How do you transition your wardrobe for Fall?
Until next time!
