Hey Everyone!
If you know your body well, then you know what types of clothing work best for your figure versus those that don’t. Like just about every woman in the world, I have problem areas. Over the years, with a little savvy on my part, I’ve learned how to hide them. Since I carry my weight in the lower part of my body, I’ve never felt comfortable wearing a lot of fitted clothing, especially a Ponte Pencil Skirt or Body Con dress. Every time I do wear form fitted clothing, I’m left with that feeling of something hanging out that shouldn’t be. LOL! Have you ever felt that way? Then I HIGHLY recommend that you check out Lyssé (pronounced Li-SAY).
Cleverly named with a twist on the French word for “Smooth”, that is exactly what Lyssé’s clothing does, and I’m NOT lying. Their patent pending LysséFit Technology slims, smooths and shapes every one of your curves. I could not believe how happy I was with the fit of my new ponte pencil skirt. Guys, the ponte pencil skirt I’m wearing in today’s post is literally the ONLY one I will ever need. That uncomfortable bulge you feel in your tummy is magically flattened and this thing is SO soft! I could not be happier with the fit! Since I hardly ever do professional looks, I thought I’d show you guys a great look for work that’s both sexy AND professional. I work in a pretty laid back office so if I wore something like this, I’d be completely overdressed, but for you ladies that do have to dress professionally…this one’s for you!
Here’s my look:

See what I mean? Please do me a favor and check out Lyssé. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Oh! And if you like wearing leggings and you’re looking for a pair that fit AND flatter, stay tuned next week because I’ll be featuring a fabulous pair of denim leggings I got from Lyssé! Check them out today at http://www.lysse.com.
Do any of you own a Ponte Pencil Skirt? How do you feel about the fit?

Until next time!

This look is amazing…I love pencil skirts, but I rarely wear them because I have big hips.
Johnnalynn Lynch says
Hi Joanna! Believe me, I don’t normally wear pencil skirts because my hips are wide. This skirt is SO slimming!
Mykailah says
I’m loving that top in this picture! but I too can relate on the big hips situation. It would really emphasize my shape though so I MIGHT just give the pencil skirt a try.
Johnnalynn Lynch says
Hi Mykailah! You definitely should try wearing one! Thank you!
Bekka says

I love this look!! I honestly do. The skirt really does look great on you. There is NO reason you shouldn’t wear pencil skirts and I love the top also. I have read reviews that their leggings are wonderful but this is the first I’ve read about their skirts. I will have to look at them because I do need a black pencil skirt.
Johnnalynn Lynch says
Hi Christy! Thanks so much! I HATE my legs so I hardly ever wear pencil skirts. LOL! I really appreciate that! You should definitely check them out. The skirt fits so well and it’s so soft. It shapes the right places without making you feel completely sucked in.
