Hey Afaconados!
I remember telling you guys a couple of weeks back that I was going on vacation, but I don’t think I told you all where I’ll be heading off to on May 1st. Well, in 2 weeks I’m heading to Bali, Indonesia with my girls for 10 days and I am SO unbelievably excited! So since my head is currently stuck in the clouds of beautiful, exotic Bali, I decided to find a vintage item this week that lends a bit of a twist to the Sarong, one of Bali’s fashion staples.
The Sarong Dress has been around since the late 1940’s and well into the 1960’s. These vivid, form fitting floral dresses provided a way for women to show off their flattering figures and pop some serious color during a time when most women of the time were pretty conservative in the way they dressed.
Here are my picks for this week (Please Note: All photos are courtesy of the Etsy website):
Until next time!
