Hey Afaconados!
Today’s vintage obsession highlights the Kaftan. This amazingly comfortable piece of clothing reached its peak of popularity in the 1970’s during the “Hippie” era, but has made a major comeback. Although the Kaftan is associated with Islamic cultures, they are worn by people of many different cultures. True story, I’ve actually been looking for a kaftan or two to take on my upcoming vacation (details on the destination coming soon) because they’re so light, airy and easy to throw on…perfect for a beach destination where sun takes over the need to have too much heavy clothing on. 🙂
Here are my picks for this week (Note: All photos courtesy of the Etsy website):
Until next time!
