What I love the most about wearing bohemian clothing is the vintage vibe it gives off. It’s true what they say about fashion. What goes around definitely comes back around. One very popular trend this summer has been authentic vintage and vintage inspired clothing. A great way to wear this undying trend is to incorporate pieces into your wardrobe that have that old school feel to them. That’s why retro denim dresses are one of my favorites. Whether its a short dress or a maxi, I can’t get enough of them. Not to mention the fact that they make me feel like Thelma from Good Times. LOL! For styling, a great tip is to pay close attention to the color of the denim. If it’s a retro look you’re going for, then Indigo Blue is the color you want.
I recently did a series for AMIClubwear on rompers. You can check out one of my posts HERE if you haven’t seen it yet. For this series, it’s all about denim. Today, I’m wearing the Denim Button Up Dress from AMIClubwear. The tie waist of this dress is classic, perfect for a retro denim dress. The best thing about the style is that you only have to add a few items to complete the retro look. As usual, I’m wearing my handy dandy floppy fedora. I topped off the outfit with my Luka Sandals from Free People.
Here’s my look:

This was such a fun outfit to wear! Since it wasn’t scorching hot on Sunday when my nephew and I went out to take pictures, I felt very cool. The denim is also quite soft so the dress is comfortable as well. Get this look today by visiting AMIClubwear.
