Hey Everyone!
I hope you guys have unpacked your fall/winter clothes by now. It’s getting down right cold out there! I was really shocked to see how chilly it was this weekend in Atlanta. The temperatures seemed to have gone from one extreme to the next. I probably should take my own advice about unpacking fall/winter clothes since I’m not a fan of cold weather. I can’t believe that I STILL haven’t done it yet. Usually when fall comes, I like to challenge myself by coming up with ways to layer some of my favorite summer pieces. It helps me to get more leverage out of my clothing. For example, I’m crazy about the Fashion Blogger Slogan Shift Dress that I got from Boohoo Fashion recently. But as you can see, it’s more of a spring/summer piece than something you would wear in the fall/winter.
In an effort to make my slogan shift dress fall ready, I just added a few layers. While it was pretty chilly outside yesterday, you’ll find that when you start adding layers, you tend to warm up rather quickly. All the dress needed was a pair of tights and a FABULOUS moto jacket! For even colder weather, I might try adding a chunky scarf, maybe some knee high boots and a Woolen Waterfall Jacket. I know my slogan shift dress is very literal but its okay because I’m a Fashion Blogger, we’re expected to be 🙂

This is such a fun dress! I couldn’t bare to pack it up with my summer clothing. As we get further into the season, I plan to do more posts about layering. You’d be surprised how often people tell me that they don’t know how to layer clothing. It’s super easy and if you learn how to mix and match the clothing you already have in your closet, you can save a ton of money!
