*This post highlights soft winter coats featuring items from J. Jill that were given to me in exchange for my honest opinion.
In just one month, winter will be upon us. I don’t know about you but it already feels like winter in Atlanta. I don’t know why I fooled myself into thinking that we would get a few more weeks of warmth. It’s downright cold out there. After working from home for so long, I found out recently that I may have to go back into the office. It’s been so long since I worked in an office that I don’t have many professional pieces in my wardrobe anymore. As I began dusting off my winter clothes, I started thinking about professional items I need to add to my wardrobe.
I consider myself more traditional when it comes to dressing for the office. I tend to gravitate toward classic pieces. Soft winter coats like the Chelsea Coat from J. Jill’s November Collection make the perfect classic piece to add to your wardrobe. The fabric is reminiscent of cashmere and nothing beats that stand collar! As with any piece that I recommend, the Chelsea Coat is versatile. I could just as easily wear it with a pair of my favorite skinny jeans as I could with some trousers. As a matter of fact, I’m wearing it today with my Dromé Leather Leggings. To make the outfit even more professional looking, I paired my leggings with J. Jill’s Pleated Back Tunic.
Here’s my look:

The Chelsea Coat is indeed a classic coat. It’s also extremely warm for a coat that falls on the lighter side. I can’t wait to layer it with a chunky sweater and some knee boots!
What kind of soft winter coats do you wear into the office?
Until next time…
