Have any of you ever tried trading your casual clothes for athleisure wear? I know I have. When the weekends come, all I can think about is throwing on the most comfortable thing I can find, and heading out. Athleisure wear makes that so easy to do. Not only that, if you plan on going to the gym early and need to run errands afterward, it’s the perfect way to save some time! There are so many different brands to choose from these days too. The possibilities are endless. One of my “Go To” places to find athleisure wear is TJ Maxx. You simply can’t beat the savings. There’s also a variety of popular brands there that you would find in department stores for way more money. I don’t know about you, but I can’t resist good savings!
The outfit I’m wearing today was made by Gaiam. I’m sure all of you yogis out there have heard of them. They make some of my favorite and most comfortable athleisure wear. I also love how trendy their pieces are! My rule for finding new athleisure wear is to look for pieces that play well with my figure. I have full hips and thighs so my goal is to de-emphasize them as much as possible without covering them up completely. My favorite thing about the cowl neck top I’m wearing is the side slits because they show off my hips while covering them up a bit. 🙂
Here’s my look:

Whether you’re heading to the gym or out to run errands, athleisure wear is perfect. This trend (which is turning out to be my favorite) is taking over. It’s also not going anywhere, anytime soon!
