If you live in Georgia, then I hope this post finds you and your families safe and sound. Our 1-2 inches of snow on Tuesday turned out to be a doozie. As if watching the news to hear about the countless hours people were stuck on the icy roads wasn’t bad enough, I’m still hearing horror stories today from my coworkers and friends about what they went through. Needless to say, I’m glad we all made it to Friday and I hope everyone can enjoy a restful weekend now that it’s over.
As I said in my last article (HERE), I’m proud of myself for shopping my closet more…BUT, that doesn’t mean I won’t be doing any shopping at all. Last weekend I found myself walking into Urban Outfitters with the best of intentions (to buy my niece a birthday gift), and hung my head in shame as I walked out with my niece’s gift + 1. LOL! I know I’ve been doing really well, but they were having a great sale and when I saw the Intarsia sweater I’m wearing in today’s post, I HAD to have it! For those of you who have never heard the term “Intarsia”, it’s a knitting technique that is used to create patterns in multiple colors. I’m pretty sure most of you own something made from this technique and didn’t even know it. I’m in love with the coral color in this sweater…my eyes were immediately drawn to it. I also like the geometric patterns because it makes the sweater look complicated in a cool sort of way. To make it pop, I threw on the snood I got from my bestie Melanie as a birthday gift, one of the many years I’ve known her. Thanks again Girl! It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
Here’s my look:

NOTE: The first picture in this set is INTERACTIVE and SHOPPABLE
I neglected to mention that this sweater is super warm AND Urban Outfitters has it in different colors and patterns!
So, do you own an Intarsia sweater?
Until next time!
