Happy Friday Everyone!
I’m excited for the weekend! We’re also getting closer and closer to Thanksgiving and I can’t wait to stuff my face. 🙂 Did I tell you guys that I’ll be spending Christmas in New York this year? This will be my first time going there during the holidays so I’m bursting with excitement! I’ve often heard that Christmas in New York is unlike anything you can imagine, so my expectations are high. One of my favorite trends this season, without a doubt, is plaid. Seeing as how I have a ton of it in my closet, I was relieved to hear that the trend would stick for fall/winter. Plaid has been a blogger favorite for quite a while. We tend to wear plaid shirts with everything from skirts to joggers.
One of my favorite ways to wear plaid is pretty simple. I layer it with a cargo or utility vest. The great thing about this tip is that a green vest would look good with almost any plaid color combo. Especially if you buy one of J. Jill’s plaid shirts. As always, the quality of J. Jill’s clothing is perfection! Today, I’m wearing their Yarn Dyed Plaid Shirt in Spruce Multi. This shirt is 100% rayon woven, so you can imagine how soft it is. To create some contrast with the green, I added my camel colored ankle boots. This outfit is great for running errands on the weekend!

I’m pretty sure this is going to become my weekend wardrobe. Check out J. Jill for more plaid shirts!
