*This post discusses wearing a satin lined cap at night featuring an item from Grace Eleyae that was given to me as a gift in exchange for my honest opinion.
Have any of you ever heard about the benefits of wearing a satin lined cap at night? As someone who has always been into haircare, I’ve known about it for years. Actually, silk is also good for your hair. I personally tie my hair using a silk scarf every night. If you’re not familiar with this method of haircare then you definitely need to read on. Satin can help to prevent your hair from frizzing. It also helps to prevent roughing of the cuticle on any hair texture and can help to prolong your hairstyle. It doesn’t matter what hair type you have either, it works on all hair types.
If you’ve been using cotton scarves or sleeping on a cotton pillowcase, then you’re probably sucking out some of the moisture in your hair. Cotton causes a lot of friction, which can lead to hair breakage. Not only that, you could be damaging your skin as well. Bet you didn’t know that, did you?! Thankfully, Grace Eleyae offers an amazing collection of satin-lined caps, turbans, and scrunchies. The turban I’m wearing today can easily be worn in the house or out in the streets. It’s super stylish! I plan to take it with me to Morocco. I’m sure it will pair well with my kaftans. J

If you’ve been consistently using cotton scarves or pillowcases, then you’ve most likely been damaging your hair without knowing it. Try using either satin or silk. I’m sure you will notice the difference!
