Hey Everyone!
It’s finally Friday! I don’t know why but this seemed like the longest week ever. I think it’s because Christmas is almost here. Time always slows down when something fun is coming up. Are you ready for Sunday? I hope you were able to get all of your last minute shopping out of the way. I don’t know about you, but I’m REALLY looking forward to the long weekend. Here’s a good question, what are you planning to wear on Christmas Day? I’ve never been one for traditional outfits so I plan to stay as far away from red as possible. I guess what you wear also depends on how dressy the party you’re going to is. For me, it will be casual but that doesn’t mean I’m going to wear jeans and sneakers. I’d definitely like to add some interesting patterns and colors. You may not think so, but florals can be perfect for winter. I’ve written about this before, as a matter of fact.
When it comes to wearing florals in the winter, the most important rule is to stick with darker florals. That’s not even a hard and fast rule though because you can layer lighter colored florals with darker colors. Today, I’m wearing cabi’s Zoe Top with their Skinny Cords in Umber. What I like the most about the Zoe Top is that it can be worn in any season. It fits just as perfectly with Summer and Spring as it does Fall and Winter! I’m crazy about fedoras lately and can find a way to wear one with pretty much any outfit. That’s why it was my accessory choice for today. I layered my Zoe Top with a denim jacket but could have just as easily layered it with a chunky cardigan!
