*This post highlights wearing white before and after Memorial Day featuring items from J. Jill that were gifted to me for a product review
Hey Everyone!
I hope your Monday has gotten off to a good start, I know mine has. I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I’m not already ready for the weekend though. I have something really exciting coming up this weekend! I can’t wait to share it with you all! Before we get to that, let’s figure out what to wear this week. I don’t know about you, but I’m a fan of breaking the rules. Especially when it comes to wearing white. Unlike some people, I choose to wear white before and after Memorial Day. I never understood why there was ever a time frame in place for when you can wear clothes that YOU buy with YOUR money. It’s absolutely insane.
Nowadays it seems like more and more people are willing to step outside the box. Truthfully, the rules behind when or when not to wear white have been outdated for quite a while. For my outfit today, I’m wearing J. Jill’s Layered Schiffli Tank in Navy Blue with a pair of their White Authentic Fit Cropped Jeans. Even though I’m wearing these jeans after the Memorial Day holiday, I would have happily worn them before it too! I absolutely love J. Jill’s new skinny scarves so I’m wearing their Compassion Fund Paisley Skinny Scarf as a headband today. A simple pair of ankle-strapped heels and light jewelry were all I needed to complete my outfit!
Here’s my look:

Absolutely love this look, girl. I’m all about breaking the rules too! I actually included white jeans in a capsule wardrobe experiment I did this winter, so totally agree! <3

Thanks so much for your comment! I know right?! Who makes these rules anyway?! 🙂
