*This post talks about ways to dress up your tunic and features items that were gifted to me for a product review
Hey Everyone!
You may remember me talking about how to shop your closet and purchase versatile items to add to your wardrobe. We all spend a lot of money on our clothes. That’s why getting the most out of them is so important. When it comes to versatility, I enjoy wearing pieces that I can dress up or down. Believe it or not, some pieces are easier to work with than others. I have the most fun when I get to dress up items that you wouldn’t normally think can or should be dressed up. To me, that’s what styling is all about. You can’t be afraid to try all types of different things. You’d be surprised at what the outcome might be when you switch things up a bit.
I was experimenting the other day with the Pure Jill Painted Floral Tunic from J. Jill’s February Collection. The tunic is casual which means I would obviously pair it with leggings or jeans right? Wrong! I wanted to go in the complete opposite direction! You can easily dress up your tunic by wearing it with a dressier piece! That’s why I decided to wear this super soft tunic with my favorite Tulle Ballerina Skirt! I can’t believe how feminine and elegant it looked! Putting my hair in a bun and adding my pearl earrings and necklace made it all the more sophisticated!
Here’s my look:

I can’t stress enough how soft this tunic is. It’s one of the softest cotton tops I’ve ever worn. I’ve bragged about the amazing quality of J. Jill’s clothing in previous posts. You really just have to see for yourself to know what I’m talking about. Check out J. Jill’s February Collection today for more of their relaxed, elegant style clothing!
