Hey Everyone!
The week is over (thank God) and I am SO excited to be celebrating my birthday tomorrow! My amazing boyfriend thought that since this is a milestone birthday for me, we should pre-game a week early. That’s why he surprised me with a trip to Chateau Elan last weekend! I’ll have to write a post about my trip soon so you can see the beautiful photos I took, we had a blast! But first, let’s talk about the importance of looking your best all the time…even when it’s just you at home.
There’s nothing like feeling good about yourself. In my mind, being stylish while at home is the equivalent of pampering myself after a long day at work. We as women do so much from day to day that we more than deserve to feel good about our appearance. J. Jill makes it easy to look stylish while at home…even if there’s no one around to see you. 🙂
Today, I’m wearing the Striped Knit Boat-Neck Dress from J. Jill’s February Collection. As someone who works from home, I can say that a dress like this is perfect for me. It can be worn as is or I could even throw on pair of soft leggings underneath it. Then after work, all I have to do is slip on a pair of Converse and go!
Here’s my look:

Super comfortable! Don’t let me forget to mention that the necklace and bracelet I’m wearing are part of J. Jill’s Compassion Fund. Since 2002, J. Jill’s Compassion Fund has been dedicated to providing support to community-based organizations. These organizations help disadvantaged and homeless women become self-sufficient. When you purchase one of these products, 100% of the net proceeds will go towards the fund!
So how do you go about being stylish while at home?

I work from home also. I’ve learned that when I wear something nice even at home I tend to be more productive and I’m ready to go if I have to.
I have a lot of clothes from when I worked in an office. In addition I live in California whose dress style is primarily casually.
I don’t have alot of casual dresses – so it’s usually leggings, jeggings or nice pants/jeans with nice top. Its the shoes that put my boring work at home outfits over the top.
Love your style, stushigal.
