I’ve been blogging for a while now and since starting about 3 years ago, I’ve NEVER done a makeup review. I’m not sure why really. I think it might be because I’ve never been that into makeup. I wear the usual stuff like foundation, blush, eyeshadow and lip gloss but I’ve never been into it enough to want to write about it until now. I was recently contacted by a company called Younique to do a review on a product called 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara. Since this was the first time I had ever heard of 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara, I knew I had to check it out. Basically, the product combines what’s called a “Transplanting Gel” along with Natural Fibers to help create the appearance of thickness and volume to your existing lashes.
Applying is an easy 3 step process: #1 – Apply your favorite mascara and let it dry, #2 – Apply the Transplanting Gel and #3 – Very quickly, before Transplanting Gel has a chance to dry, apply 3D Fibers. I’m certainly a novice in all of this and I was able to do it with no problem.
So, “Does it work?” You ask. Well, yes it does. To be very honest, I only used it once when preparing to take today’s pictures. I went through the steps fairly quickly as well. I believe that had I taken more time to ensure that I did the steps properly, the result would have been even better. I can say this, I definitely see a difference in the thickness and length of my lashes. I’ll let you guys judge for yourself.
Here’s a before and after picture of my lashes:
So what do you think? Now I’m no makeup expert or anything, but I think you have to be realistic about the type of results you’re going to get. If you expect the same results that you would get with false eyelashes, then don’t buy this product. Thicker, fuller, even longer eyelashes are achievable, but you won’t get the same elongation as with false eyelashes.
No StushiGal Style post would be complete without an OOTD to go along with it right? Today’s outfit features a super fun “Limited Edition” tee that I got from Elle B. I’m excited to see that they’ve launched their new apparel line! A girl can never have enough cute graphic tees. Pairing my fitted tee with a pencil skirt added just the right touch of sexiness to go with my 3D Fiber Lashes too!

Overall, I was satisfied with the results of Younique’s 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara. Maybe I’ll use it again soon and take my time so you guys can see how those results turn out.
Have you ever used a 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara?
