I’m fresh off of my fabulous (and quick) trip to NYC and I am completely wiped out! My niece and I were WAY too ambitious in our shopping efforts. After arriving a lot later than we expected due to a delay in our flight, we had to high-tail it to the hotel, get changed and hit the streets. I’m actually quite proud of what we were able to accomplish in such a short period of time on the first day. Since this was my niece’s first trip to NYC, she had no idea what she was in for! I think she did REALLY well though because she went home with tons of clothing. She made her money stretch as far as it could. I’m happy to say that she’s a savvy shopper just like her aunt We knew we had to get as much done as possible on Friday because Saturday would be our night on Broadway. Wicked is one of our favorite shows so we were both very excited to be seeing it for the first time on Broadway after having seen it a few times here in Atlanta. It was FANTASTIC, and such a totally different experience than seeing it here.
One of the things I was most excited about was getting dressed up for the show on Saturday, so I left nothing to chance. I rented a beautiful Jill Stuart dress from Rent the Runway, and paired it with my gorgeous Aliza Knotted Top Clutch from Prima Donna. Since less can sometimes be more, I decided to forego my usual statement necklace and simply wear a knock out pair of earrings instead. My Royal Teardrop Earrings from Elle B were the perfect touch!

Ashleigh and I had such an amazing night and I felt like a princess in my beautiful dress topped with fabulous accessories!
Have any of you been to a show on Broadway? What did you see?
*As always, all opinions are 100% my own
Until next time!
