*This post highlights how to beat the heat by wearing breathable fabrics, featuring an item from J. Jill that was gifted to me for a product review
Have you ever wondered why some people are completely unphased by the heat? I don’t know about you, but I get downright jealous over it. LOL! Especially when the temperatures get closer to being 100 degrees! It almost feels like you need a strategy of some sort just to stay cool. I’m sure there are quite a few reasons for it. I know for sure though that one of the reasons is due to the type of fabrics they wear. I’d be willing to bet they’re able to beat the heat by wearing breathable fabrics.
The Embroidered Layered Knit Tank I’m wearing today from J. Jill is an example of breathable fabric. The top is made from a combination of cotton and modal which are both breathable. It’s such a soft top! The embroidered edges and a double layer of the tank make it so pretty. I’m a fan of red and turquoise together so I accessorized with my squash blossom necklace. My cropped jeans and gladiator sandals were just what I needed to give the outfit a southwestern vibe.
Here’s my look:

Aren’t those embroidered details gorgeous? This tank is definitely a testament to how breathable cotton and modal are. The temperature was in the 90s on Sunday when I took these photos. I assure you that the entire time I was out, I didn’t feel a thing! J. Jill has mastered the art of casual, chic clothing!
Do you beat the heat by wearing breathable fabrics?
