I hope you guys had a fantastic weekend! Our weekend was full of rain here in Atlanta, and this week won’t be any better as it’s supposed to rain all week. Ugh! I know it has it’s place and I’m really glad that the weather cools down after it rains, but it’s almost impossible to wear anything comfortable when it’s like this outside. Not to mention the fact that my hair can never hold a single curl. My niece and I were lucky enough to get out and take pictures before the down pour started back up on Sunday, but the humidity still went to war with my hair.
Although the black and white outfit I’m wearing today wasn’t necessarily weather appropriate for Sunday’s rain, I still wanted to show you guys how amazing black and white can look with the simplest pop of color! I was recently contacted by Shira Melody Jewelry to create a style post wearing their vibrant and beautiful Holly Cuff. With the option to choose from the Black, Yellow, Pink or Turquoise cuff, I decided to go with the Pink. I love wearing muted outfits that provide a pop of color. Since I’m wearing black and white today, I wanted to do the simplest pop of color with the bright pink of the cuff. What’s crazy about it is that there really isn’t much to the cuff, but your eyes are still drawn to it.
Here’s my look:

If you’re daring enough wear white pants like I did, then I would definitely advise doing a look like this with just a little pop of color. It really does make a huge difference and the best part is that the color doesn’t have to come from your top…it can be in a cuff like mine, a statement necklace or earrings and even in your shoes!
How do you guys add a pop of color to your outfits?
