I had such a great time this weekend! On Saturday, my boyfriend and I went to a restaurant that’s been a long time landmark here in Atlanta. It’s called R. Thomas. What I love the most about this restaurant, besides the fact that it stays open 24/7, is the funky Bohemian decor! I also like to go there to see all the beautiful birds. Mr. Richard Thomas, the owner, has a huge love of exotic birds. It’s evident in his collection of birds that sit outside of the restaurant. He’s truly a man of my father’s heart as he also had a love for exotic birds. All of those things are nothing when compared to the food. R. Thomas is well known for being a place you can go to eat clean, organic food.
I didn’t take many photos of the birds, but I did manage to get one of the T0ucan:
In keeping with the “Green” theme, there are tons of plants that surround the inside and outside of the restaurant, while a California vibe can be found on the inside.
It wasn’t hard for me to decide what to wear for my visit. With all of the Boho vibes flowing through this place, I knew I wanted to look the part. The heat and humidity we’re having these days called for a light fabric. Nothing beats J. Jill’s Tencel which is why I opted to wear their Tencel®-Soft Indigo Maxi Dress. This dress is soft, lightweight and super comfortable, perfect for days like the one we had on Saturday. I accessorized with a beautiful pair of gold hoops from Sheila Fajl and my all time favorite necklace from Chic Verte.
Here’s my look:
