*This post highlights casual winter outfits featuring items that were given to me as a gift in exchange for my honest opinion.
As you can probably tell from my absence, preparing for the holidays has kept me busy. I’m happy to say however that as of today, my holiday shopping is officially over! All I have left to do is figure out what I’ll be wearing for Christmas dinner. Since this will be my first Christmas with my fiancé’s family, I want to look nice but not like I tried too hard. My fiancé and I will be hosting dinner at our house which technically means I don’t need to carry a handbag. If you know anything at all about me though, you know that I’ll have a bag to match my outfit. 🙂 That’s where HauteTrader comes in!
The concept behind HauteTrader is genius and extremely fun! Check out my outfit and then I’ll tell you all about it!
Here’s my look:

The beautiful Tory Burch bag I’m carrying is one of my trades from HauteTrader. How cool is that? All I had to do was use something called “Haute-Points” to get it! Stay tuned later this week to see the other bag I got. It’s just as beautiful as this one!
Here’s how it works:
Members can make two types of trades…
- Make a Trade-Offer with another member by simply offering to trade one of your items with theirs. You have the freedom to accept or decline offers as you wish. Either way, once a trade is accepted and completed, you will accumulate both a new item AND Haute-Points!
- Make an instant Haute-Points trade by using your accumulated Haute-Points to purchase an item that allows Haute-Points trades. NOTE: Items that are listed as PN (Premium – Not Accepting Haute Points) DO NOT ALLOW the use of Haute-Points for purchases.
