Now that 2015 is officially here, you know what that means right? It’s time to get your butts in gear for the summer! In my case I’ve got until April to get in shape before Coachella. I’m SO excited to be going this year but with all the skinny chicks that I know will be there, I need to make sure my body is on point. I recently heard about a very cool “Not so Gym” membership called ClassPass. ClassPass is a monthly membership service to some of the best boutique fitness classes in your city (and they are ALL over the US). Ever heard of Flywheel, Pure Barre or The Bar Method? Well those classes are included in your monthly ClassPass. For $79-$99 a month (price varies by city), you can do anything from cycling to yoga and more!
In an effort to make sure I started the year off right, I scheduled my first class on New Year’s Day. Since I’m a huge fan of yoga, I signed up for a class at Wide Angle Yoga (WAY) located on 10th Street in Midtown. Debra was such a great teacher and thanks to the holiday, I got a one-on-one session with her! I really enjoyed the smaller setting and personal attention. She was very helpful when it came to assessing my poses and making corrections where needed. I’ll definitely be back! I haven’t gotten up the nerve to take Flywheel yet but thanks to ClassPass, I’ll work my way up to being ready in now time!
Today’s topic doesn’t necessarily call for an outfit post, but I did recently read that dressing nicely to work out is a great motivator. ClassPass was nice enough to send me a cute tank and water bottle, so being the Fashionista that I am, I turned it into an outfit opportunity. LOL!
Here’s my look:
