The girls and I are forging ahead this summer with our Coast to Coast Street Style Series! Today’s feature is Deb Shops! As a lover of vintage clothing, I appreciate seeing some of my favorite styles come back around. One throwback style I’ve always enjoyed wearing are crochet tops and dresses. Thanks to outdoor concerts like Coachella and Bonnaroo, crochet has become an extremely popular wardrobe choice these days, especially during festival season. In small doses, crochet can add a very feminine and romantic touch to your look. It’s also a staple piece for Bohemian style clothing, which as you all know, is my “Go To” style. When Jessica, Alina and I decided on a “Bohemian Summer” theme for our posts today, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Deb Shops carried a variety of crochet tops, skirts, dresses and even shoes! It was no easy feat making my selection, but I knew that whatever I decided to wear, it had to be crochet.
As soon as I spotted the Crochet and Lace Racer Back Tank I’m wearing today, I knew I had to have it. The delicate looking crochet top was just the piece I needed to add an ethereal touch to my outfit. In keeping with a proper Boho Chic look, I selected a pair of Aztec printed shorts (from Deb Shops of course) and my favorite (yet very old) gladiator sandals. Although the weather wasn’t playing very nicely on Sunday, my usual field of high grass provided the perfect backdrop!
Here’s my look:

How adorable is that top?! Although I have both a black and nude bandeau top, I elected to go with the black one. I thought it complimented the shorts and shoes better. Don’t forget to check out my girls Dressed by Jess and Style by Alina to see how they styled their looks and visit Deb Shops at http://www.debshops.com for more cute Bohemian style clothing!
Have any of you been wearing crochet tops this summer?
