I’ve been so busy lately I forgot to tell you all that I’ll be heading to Los Angeles, CA this Thursday for the Lucky FABB Conference! I am SO excited! For those of you that don’t know, Lucky FABB is an invitation only blogger conference that takes place twice a year…once in Cali and once in NYC. Out of all the bloggers in the U.S that apply to attend, only 300 are selected. Needless to say, I was so honored to be invited to go. Since receiving my invitation, I’ve been stressing out about what to wear. It’s LA after all, and I hear these ladies do NOT play, so you REALLY have to bring your “A” game! I’ve stressed out SO much you guys, that I’m even concerned about what to wear on the plane. LOL! I want to be comfortable, but at the same time, I want to arrive in style.
Dressing comfortably without sacrificing your style is actually pretty easy to do. Simply select relaxed pieces that compliment your personal style. It really is as simple as that. By “relaxed”, I mean loose flowing fabrics like soft cotton, linen or silk (see THIS post for inspiration). We all know that unless you’re lucky enough to fly in business class, you won’t be at your most comfortable during a flight. That’s why it’s important to wear breathable fabrics. For my arrival in LA, I decided to wear a super cute pair of silk cargo pants by Gypsy 05 with a silk Cynthia Rowley top that I found at TJ Maxx. These pieces are beyond comfortable, and they look adorable together. I even lucked up on a great pair of cushioned, mesh flats to top it all off!
Here’s my look:

Am I ready for Cali or what?! I’m so glad I was able to find these pieces! You’ll just have to take my word when I say these pants are some of the most comfortable pants I’ve ever put on! This outfit is proof that dressing comfortably without sacrificing your personal style is more than possible! Stay tuned next week for some of my highlights from the Lucky FABB conference!
So, when it comes to dressing comfortably, what do you do to make sure you’re not sacrificing your personal style?
Until next time!
