Hey Everyone!
Want to know a VERY random tidbit of information about me? I was raised on country music. LOL! It’s true! My father swore he was a cowboy. He loved listening to country musicians like Willie Nelson, Randy Travis, Crystal Gayle, Johnny Cash and more. On any given Saturday at my parent’s house, you could hear my father playing his guitar alongside his country music. He even had cowboy boots, a cowboy hat and the big belt buckle to go with it all. I miss him so much. Today, I wanted to give you all some fall outfit inspiration courtesy of my father. I guess some of his style rubbed off on me 🙂
The weather we’ve been having in Atlanta is beautiful, just right for an “Urban Cowboy” look. I really like that it’s still warm enough in the afternoons to go without a jacket. If you own a cowboy hat or hat of any kind, fall is the perfect time to wear it. I got the Lucky Brand Peasant Top I’m wearing today at TJ Maxx. After seeing this top, I knew it would compliment my “Urban Cowboy” theme very well! I found my hat on Amazon earlier this year and hadn’t had a chance to wear it until today. The hat isn’t a cowboy hat (as I’m sure you can tell). It’s actually a fedora but it still gives off a cowboy vibe, so I went with it. I thought about wearing actual cowboy boots with this look but decided to go with the booties instead. I think booties make the look more urban and modern. Later this week, I’ll be hosting a giveaway for a jewelry company called Northern Clover. Be sure to stay tuned! The Golden Wing Necklace I’m wearing today is available on their site!
Here’s my look:

I think my father would be proud of the Style Snatch I did based on how he used to dress. I had a lot of fun putting this outfit together! One thing is for sure, I’ll be taking full advantage of this “In Between” weather we’re having. I’ll probably rock a similar look again soon too!
So, what are some of your fall outfit inspiration themes?

This look came together perfectly. I like that it’s cowboy inspired, but not so literal. Great interpretation 🙂

Thank you Mel! Yeah I didn’t want to be too literal that’s why I decided not to wear the cowboy boots.
