I have a question for you. What do you wear to run errands on the weekend? Do you throw on anything? Or do you try to find ways to be stylish even though you’re not necessarily “going out”? I don’t know about you, but it’s definitely the latter for me. You don’t get vacation days away from fashion. The fact that I have a lot of running around to do and it’s the weekend are no excuse to slack on my wardrobe choices. The great thing is that you don’t have to wear bling and high heels to look fabulous, just get the Sporty Chic look! Dressing sporty chic is a way to dress up, while really dressing down. I’m sure you want to know what that means, right? Well it means that you can wear sneakers with a spaghetti-strap dress, or a pair of casual joggers with a dressy top. If you’re looking for a good way to transition from running errands to having drinks with the girls, then you’ve got to try this trend.
For my look today, I’m wearing a pair of joggers with a chunky knit sweater. I got both pieces from TJ Maxx for only $35. Joggers can go well with a variety of different tops but since my goal was to dress up the joggers a bit while still being comfortable, I went with this sweater. Since the look is sporty, I complimented my joggers with a pair of Commes des Garcons PLAY Converse. I can’t tell you how comfortable I was, and with it being such a nice day in Atlanta yesterday, I didn’t even need a coat!
Here’s my look:
