Hey Everyone!
It’s Monday and we’re coming off of an absolute scorcher this past weekend. Have you ever felt so hot that as soon as you get outside you feel like you can’t breathe? That’s what it felt like in Atlanta. As if the heat weren’t enough, it was also humid which made it even worse. I can’t tell you how much I respect people who go out and run in the park on days like that. I’ll take air conditioning in the comfort of my home please. 🙂 Unless you plan to go nude on days as hot as that, it’s best to wear light flowing fabrics that help keep you cool. As a lover of Bohemian clothing, I find the patterns and fabrics perfect for hot summer days. If you’re looking to achieve an easy going Boho Chic look, try wearing bohemian halter dresses made from light cotton or linen. Some bohemian halter dresses are even made from light cotton gauze which is so fun to wear!
I appreciate halter dresses for how they show off my shoulders. I’ve always thought that my shoulders were one of my best physical attributes. When summer rolls around, I never miss a chance to bare them. I found the dress I’m wearing today at Dillard’s. I didn’t see the exact dress that I bought when I checked their website, but I did see that they had a ton of other bohemian halter dresses (like This One) to choose from. No Boho Chic look is complete without a floppy fedora so wearing mine today was a must. For some extra flair, and to keep the seething hot sun from penetrating my skin, I accessorized with my parasol.
Here’s my look:

As hot as it was outside, I have to be honest in saying that having this dress on did not add to it at all. The light, flowing fabric was cool and comfortable.
How do you wear bohemian halter dresses?
