It’s Monday and I’m one day closer to leaving for Greece! Today’s #StushiGalTravels post is all about lace pants from Lulus.com! I have to admit as much as I’ve always loved lace, it took a while for this trend to catch on with me. I think the reason why is because I’ve always associated lace with evening wear. It took some time for me to realize that there is such a thing as dressing down fabrics that are considered “dressy”. Lace pants, tops, skirts and dresses are everywhere these days and it’s almost always in casual, laid back looks.
I’ve heard a lot about how beautiful the bougainvillea is in Mykonos. I can imagine how pretty those pink flowers must be, growing up and over the white buildings with a perfect blue sky in the background. My look for today is inspired by those flowers. If the white I’m wearing today is representative of the buildings in Mykonos, then the splashes of color in my top are representative of the bougainvillea. White is a risky color any way you slice it and I don’t wear it often. It’s beautiful to wear but a pain to keep clean. That doesn’t mean you should stay away from wearing it though because it’s really chic when worn right. These Roam the Earth Lace Pants from Lulu*s add a touch of femininity with the lace, and a casual coolness with the color and fit. I could easily see myself wearing these for a day of sailing on the Aegean Sea.
Here’s my look:

Just to make sure there’s no confusion, the top I’m wearing came from TJ Maxx and not Lulu*s. All of my jewelry was gifted to me by an amazing jewelry company called Jami. You should definitely check them out if you love adorable, dainty jewelry!
Have any of you tried wearing lace pants? What do you think of the lace trend?
