*This post talks about how to learn to love your body and features items from Reebok that were gifted to me for a product review, all opinions are 100% my own
Hey Everyone!
Guess what? My body is not perfect, and you know what? I’m PERFECTLY okay with that. Fitness is a part of my life because it’s important for my health. I work out regularly and eat healthy for me, not other people. It seems like main stream media places more and more emphasis on having the perfect body. Women these days are doing unbelievably drastic things to themselves. Why? Because they feel they won’t be beautiful or sexy if they don’t. It’s important to learn to love your body and who you are. We live in a superficial world with unreasonable expectations on how we’re “supposed” to look. No one will ever be perfect, no matter how hard they might try. It’s for that reason that Reebok’s Perfect Never campaign resonates so strongly with me.
As a fashionista, I like to look stylish when I go to the gym. I’ve always been funny about showing a lot of my midsection though. That’s why I really like Reebok’s Studio Urban Instinct Tights. The high-waisted style is exactly what I like to wear. They’re super comfy, feel amazing on, and I don’t have to worry about my gut popping out when I bend over. LOL! The Dance Strappy Bra is SO trendy and cute! I LOVE the fact that it’s a great support bra but doesn’t necessarily look like one. If you’re like me and don’t like walking into the gym without some sort of cover-up, the Quik Cotton Vest is just the thing for you! Again, very trendy and comfortable. I really like the fact that you can zip it up for more of a cowl-neck effect, or wear it unzipped to show off the drop hem. It’s such a great piece to top off your activewear! No outfit is complete without the right shoes. To finish off my outfit, I’m wearing Reebok’s Hayasu dance shoes.
