It’s Friday! And I’ve got something really exciting going on this morning that I’ll be revealing on the blog next week! I can’t wait to tell you all about it! Actually, if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll get to see some pictures of what went on today. All I can say is that this year has been a blessing for my little ole blog and I’m very thankful. I’ve got some REALLY great tricks up my sleeve for next year too…so stay tuned!
After spending a few months living in London, it has become one of my favorite travel destinations. I have some very fond memories of my adventures there. I have even better memories of my many shopping extravaganzas! I LOVE British style! Everything they wear looks so refined and sophisticated. A great fit is everything, so they take the time necessary to ensure that their clothing is tailored to perfection. I spent quite some time trying to capture the British style of dress once I got back home after living there. Although the prices in London are higher than they are here in the States, the selection is much greater. So if you’re a savvy shopper like me, then you don’t have to spend a fortune to look fabulous!
My look for today features two things that I always saw a lot of during my time in London…Tall Boots and Floral Scarves. Although tall boots have been all the rage this fall/winter season, they’ve been a big hit in London for quite a while now. I added a fitted blazer to make my look more polished, but British style would typically pair a floral scarf with a Mac (a.k.a..Trench Coat).
Here’s my look:

I think the most important thing to remember about British style is that the look should be polished and sophisticated. The British are very stylish, but their style isn’t complicated, it’s simple and elegant.
Have any of you ever visited England? What do you think of British Style?
Until next time…
