What’s Up Future Flippers!
I know that it’s the summer time and everyone is getting ready for the beach, whether it be by working out or shopping for the ultimate swimsuit, everyone is trying to look their best. EVEN ME! With that said, I know that there are “OTHER” problems that can’t be solved by going on a diet or working hard for that perfect beach bod. My number one problem is my skin. Ok, truth moment, I have blemishes on my face that for some reason, no matter how much water I drink, I can’t seem to get rid of. Bummer right?
Well a few weeks ago after inviting my boyfriend to the water park with me and my friends, I realized that he had never seen me without my makeup. When I had this epiphany, I fell into this swirling vortex of makeup confusion and I had not a clue of how to solve my problem. So after Googling my butt off, I came across a blessing….WATERPROOF CONCEALER!
YAY! I had finally found the solution, but the next question was…which product is the best for what I’m trying to do. Of course the obvious answer is MAC. That would be the best waterproof concealer, but it would also be the most expensive. I was not going to spend crazy money on something that I would only be using for the water. So what was my next option? The Drugstore of course! I know, I know, it’s not the best, but for the occasion and the expense…it was my last resort. I tried two different products:
#1 Glamoflauge by Hard Candy
#2 Maybelline Cover Stick
The Maybelline Cover Stick was labeled as waterproof, while Glamoflauge was labeled “Heavy Duty”. I got both, and after trying them out in my shower, I realized that the Maybelline Cover Stick was the best product for the water. The hard candy product was amazing though, it covers and blends like a dream, but it doesn’t withstand the water for long. I would say that both products are really good, but serve different purposes.
In conclusion, I had found my makeup savior and I was ready to hit the water with no worries and no BLEMISHES in sight 🙂
* If you try either of these products, comment and let me know how they worked for you.
