Hey Afaconados!
If you haven’t popped over to Target yet to snatch up any of the items in the Phillip Lim for Target Collection, then you may as well stay home because I assure you EVERYTHING IS SOLD OUT! Interestingly enough, I expected to have to go to more than one store to get the items I scouted on the website before the release, but I was actually able to get what I needed from visiting just one store, with the exception of the bag. I wasn’t able to find the bag that I want, but I’m still on the lookout. I can guarantee that if you weren’t able to get to the store to grab what you wanted, most or all of the collection will be available on eBay very soon, so be vigilant my fellow Fashionistas. 🙂
Today’s Look for $100 or Less features the Floral Print Shirt Dress from the Phillip Lim for Target Collection. When I saw this dress, I knew I had to have it! I LOVE the Asian influenced floral print of the dress, and the handkerchief hem at the back is as cute as a button. I also love the fact that the dress cinches at the waist so you don’t lose your shape…it actually makes your waist look even smaller. When it came to styling, I decided not to do TOO much styling or over-accessorizing because I didn’t want to take away from the print…it pretty much speaks for itself.
Here are the details of my outfit:
Dress: Phillip Lim for Target Floral Print Shirt Dress // $40 at Target
Shoes: Ankle Strap Heels // $26 at Zara (sold out but also love these)
Necklace: J. Crew Fan Fringe Necklace // $30 on eBay (this necklace can still be found on eBay but the prices vary)
Outfit Total = $96
And now, a word from your Fashionista:
For some reason unbeknownst to me, I was in the funkiest of funky moods yesterday while taking pictures (I think it was the overcast weather). I have to apologize to my nephew for being such a sour puss because we usually have a blast when we’re doing our photo shoots.
Here’s my look (*Photos taken by Richard Glass):
I am completely in love with this dress and was very impressed with the entire Phillip Lim for Target Collection!
Were you able to make it to Target on Sunday? If so, what did you buy?
Until next time!
