Hey Everyone!
I’m ashamed to say that I think I may have easily gained 10 pounds yesterday. Getting together with my friends and family for the Thanksgiving holiday is always my favorite time of year. I have to say though, it definitely felt like something was missing without my father’s presence there. I know that feeling will never go away. I hope all of you had a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday with your friends and families as well. The greatest thing about being around friends and family is that you can relax and be casual. It doesn’t mean you don’t want to be cute, you just that you can let loose. I’ve been writing quite a bit lately about SugarPair, a great new online store for trendy shoes, handbags and accessories. I’m crazy about the Cutout Booties and Leopard Print Infinity Scarf I got from them recently. But it’s their over the knee boots that I chose to wear for dinner yesterday.
As a woman who is only 5’5, I used to think that over the knee boots only looked good on women 5’8 and up. I just didn’t think I had enough leg for them to look good on me. I’m glad I went ahead and tried them. When worn with skinny jeans or a short dress, they really do look great! Since I’m a collector of graphic t-shirts, I almost went crazy when I found this cute Charlotte’s Web t-shirt at my new favorite local boutique, Hello Gorgeous Boutique and Cafe. I finished the look with a chunky cardigan, my favorite floppy hat and voila!
Here’s my look:

If you’re short like me and have been skeptical about wearing over the knee boots, then you should definitely give them a try because they really do look look great whether you’re short or tall!
How do you style your over the knee boots?

I love this casual chic look! Nice chunky sweater and tee! I want another one now. I have Alice in Wonderland

I usually wear over-knee boots with tights and skirts/dresses. I feel uncomfortable with pants in those boots.
