I am SO excited to be starting my very own travel style series today and I’m kicking it off with printed maxi skirts from Lulus.com! From now until after I return from my trip to Greece in September, I will be showcasing some of my favorite “Greece Inspired” looks! The pictures I’ve seen of how beautiful Athens, Mykonos and Santorini are has provided me with a ton of inspiration and I want to share it with you all! I can’t wait to get there and actually see it for myself. Until then, I thought it would be a great idea to show you guys some of my inspired looks by posting them on the blog as well as on Pinterest. If you’re not already following me on Pinterest, please do so HERE and take a look at my new board titled, “StushiGal Travel Style Series”. I’ll also be using a new hashtag for these posts called #StushiGalTravels, so check me out on Instagram as well!
As a frequent traveler who is ALWAYS ready to take off on a new adventure, I plan to do this for all of my trips going forward so get ready! It’s crazy that I hadn’t already started this series. I’ve been to so many different places now and have pulled style inspiration from all of them. When I saw the Fading Too Soon Red Printed Maxi Skirt I’m wearing today on the Lulu*s website, I could immediately envision the red print of the skirt against the white buildings in Mykonos. The mixture of red and white with a touch of turquoise makes the perfect statement…all while maintaining a cool vibe. I love that the length of the skirt is just right. It’s not too long and not too short. Pairing it with my Michael Kors wedges gave me a little height as well and I love that. My top is one that I’ve had for a while now, but I think any plain white or cream colored camisole would do well with this skirt.
Here’s my look:

This skirt will definitely have a special spot in my suitcase, although I’ll be opting for a much more comfortable, low heel. Walking long distances in wedges like these is dangerous. LOL!
Don’t forget to check out some of the other fabulous printed maxi skirts and midi skirts from Lulus.com, and come back next week for another one of my travel style looks!

Until next time!
