Hey There!
Yesterday we visited a vibrant, bohemian neighborhood called San Telmo which is located in Plaza Dorrego. San Telmo is home to quite a few antique markets filled with beautiful victorian furniture, collectible figurines, chandeliers, art and a ton of other fabulous items! When we arrived, we first decided to visit the feria. Remember the word “feria” means “outside market”, so on Sundays and holidays, artisans line up to display their offerings. Once again, I found myself shopping…I simply can’t get enough of this place! And you would not believe what I found in one of the antique stores I visited. Upon walking into one of the antique stores, I saw this:
I refused to believe that these trunks were real so I had to ask the young lady that worked in the store. She said that every one of those trunks was a first edition Louis Vuitton trunk. When I asked about the cost, she told me that the smallest suitcase pictured at the top cost $3,500. When I asked her if she meant $3,500 in Pesos, she laughed and said, “Umm, no….U.S Dollars”. She said that if I were to find anything like this elsewhere, the small suitcase alone would cost over $7,000. Needless to say, it won’t be coming home with me, but at least I got a chance to take a picture of it. How amazing is that?! If any of you are interested in purchasing it, at least you know where to find it 🙂
Since I LOVE Louis Vuitton, I decided to dedicate this article to him today:
Until next time!

Wow. Those trunks are cute. They’d be nice in a dressing room/spare bedroom or a vintage coffee table.
