Hey Everyone!
The weekend was SO beautiful in Atlanta! It was sunny and in the mid 60s. Weather like that reminds me of why I like living in this city. Now when it gets up to the 90s, that’s another story. I had a really great time hanging out with my mom on Saturday. We went to breakfast at Rosebud, an adorable restaurant tucked away in the Highlands in Midtown. Afterward, we went to buy a wedding gift for a wedding I’m attending this weekend. She even went grocery shopping with me, which I appreciate SO much because I never have food in my house. LOL! It was a very good day.
Even though the first day of spring isn’t officially until March 20th, the weather we’re having says that it’s already here! Spring is all about beautiful florals, bold color and light fabrics. That means it’s time to break out the spring linen! J. Jill is one of my favorites when it comes to easy, sophisticated, casual clothing. They have some fabulous linen pieces with one in particular that I’m crazy about! For today’s look, I’m wearing the Two-Pocket Linen Shirt in Freesia. Aside from the fact that purple is one of my favorite colors as well as the color of my birthstone (Amethyst), this shirt is SO unbelievably light and breezy. It also comes in White, Pearl Grey, Deep Blue and Sunlight. It doesn’t matter which color you get, the texture is the same. In keeping with the spirit of spring and to play up the color of the shirt, I wanted to keep my outfit light. I added a beautiful pastel themed infinity scarf I found at TJ Maxx and a pair of white jeans by Hudson.
Here’s my look:
